Thousands of woman have stormed London this afternoon to protest against the visit of US president Donald Trump – accusing him of mockery, misogyny and racism.

Carrying placards reading ‘Dump Trump’, and ‘Can’t comb over sexism’, crowds can be heard blowing whistles as they march through Central.

The #BringTheNoise march was arranged for today in a bid to highlght that the US president’s alleged ‘values of fear, hate and conflict’ are not shared in the UK.

Thousands gathered outside the BBC at Portland Place today to begin the march – banging on pots and pans, drums and other instruments.

They then marched to Parliament Square through Regent Street, Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

Speaking on their website, Womens March London, who organised the event, said: ‘Women’s March London invite you to #BringTheNoise as we broadcast to the world that we stand together for Justice, Equality and Peace.
