Car engulfed in fireball after going up in flames in plush Aberdeenshire hotel car park

A CAR burst into flames near a hotel in Aberdeen.

Emergency services raced to the scene where the vehicle was found ablaze near Kingswells.

The fire was reported at around 9.56am this morning.

And the snaps posted on social media prompted locals into discussion.

One said: “Yikes , hope everyone’s okay”.

Another commented: “OMG I hope all are okay!!”

A Scottish Fire and Rescue service spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 9.56am on Thursday, May 24 to reports of a vehicle on fire near Kingswell, Aberdeen.

“Operations Control immediately mobilised one fire engine to the scene and firefighters extinguished the flames.

“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
