Marco Verratti will miss the remainder of Paris Saint-Germain’s domestic season and Italy’s summer internationals after undergoing groin surgery.
PSG (h/t Football Italia) confirmed the news on their official website on Thursday with Verratti having spent the whole of April on the sidelines: “Marco Verratti had an operation on his adductor tendons in Paris today, performed by Dr. Reboul (a member of the Aspetar groin pain centre).
